Pioneering Improvising reedsman FRODE GJERSTAD! has been active in Adventurous new music for 40 years playing with such innovators as Derek Bailey, John Stevens, William Parker, Johnny Mbizo Dyani, Rashid Bakr, Louis Moholo-Moholo, Hamid Drake, Peter Brotzmann. He is Norways leading modern drummer and collaborates regularly with Mats Gustaffson, Peter Brotzmann, Neneh Cherry, Sten Standell, Lasse Marhaug and Ingebrigt Haker-Flaten.
